Queen Creek Recycles Events this April Earth Month!

Looking to declutter responsibly and contribute to a greener planet? Mark your calendars for the QC Recycles drive-through drop-off event happening on Saturday, April 20, from 7 to 11 a.m. This event, hosted by the Town of Queen Creek, is an excellent opportunity for residents to recycle a wide range of items while promoting sustainability within the community.

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday, April 20
  • Time: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Location: Town’s Field Operations Facility at 19715 S. 220th Street (on 220th Street, north of Queen Creek Road)
  • Registration: Visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/RecycleEvents to register

Why Register? Registering for the QC Recycles event not only ensures your participation but also offers a Fast Pass advantage. Residents who register by Monday, April 15, will receive a Fast Pass via email 48 hours before the event. This pass allows you to breeze through the event quickly and efficiently.

What Can You Bring? The QC Recycles event accepts a variety of items for recycling, including:

  • Appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, washers, dryers)
  • Electronics (computers, monitors, televisions, etc.)
  • Metals (steel, copper, aluminum)
  • Tires (up to four, rims removed)
  • Paint (latex or water-based)
  • Paper shredding (up to five boxes per vehicle)
  • Prescription drugs (unused, unwanted, expired)
  • Textiles and small furniture (gently used items)
  • Construction materials (excess or gently used)

Items Not Accepted: Please note that the following items will not be accepted at the event:

  • Household hazardous waste (oils, paints, chemicals, batteries)
  • Air conditioners
  • Batteries
  • Mattresses
  • Items from commercial businesses
